What stops you from the change you are seeking? Set Yourself Free!
Do you desire change in your life?
Most people do. There's an unsettling feeling telling you that something is missing. Wishing you had more of one thing, or less of another. You may not even know what's missing, but feel the longing for something different. Believing that once this gap is filled, happiness will permeate every ounce of your being. Then everything will be perfect.
Or so we believe.
So the search for the magic pill continues. The one that will set you free. Free from the pain being experienced, free from the limitations and blocks, free to have the life you dream of, free to be happy.
But it eludes you. No matter what you try, nothing works. You continue to run up against the same problems over and over again.
Truth be told, there is only one thing that stops you from having the change you desire.
Your mind.
Yes, you read that right.
Your mind tells you all the reasons why you can't have it. It resists the changes you know you must make on a consistent basis to have the transformation you are seeking.
It sabotages. It limits. It keeps you stuck.
Stay with me. Let's do an exercise.
Write down one thing you would like to change in your life.
By this one thing changing, what will transform in your life? How will you feel? How will your thoughts be different? What will alter in your physical world?
What stops you from having (insert desire here)? List all the reasons why you can't have it. Here's a pointer, this is not about pointing fingers and blaming another person or situation for why you can not have something. This is about you. Your life. And that means it's about taking responsibility for your own creations. The good, the bad and the ugly.
What do you have to do differently to experience this in your life? Change comes from making new choices. Every single day. The level of your commitment determines how quickly and effectively it will manifest into your existence.
Now, look at your list. Did anything surprise you? Send me a message and let me know the AHA you received.Change doesn't have to be hard. The problem is that the mind becomes so entangled with illusions that more energy is spent resisting the change we desire instead of simply letting go, surrendering and being open to receiving it.
